Where do you work? Four Eleven Beauty, @fourelevenabitx.johlisa
What’s your job title/what do you do? I founded Four Eleven @fourelevenabitx in 2015, after working as a nurse and on lashes for five years. Now I co-own Four Eleven with Stephanie Estrada @fourelevenabitx.stehpanie. We empower women, and men, to feel their best. I specialize in lash extensions and care and permanent makeup. I’m also a functional nutritional therapy practitioner, and am looking forward to bringing those services to Four Eleven
Where are you from? I’m native Abilenian. I was born on Dyess AFB and am now raising my family in Abilene.
What is your favorite thing about living in the Big Country? I have a huge support system around me at all times here in Abilene. For me, the Big Country is small enough to feel comfortable, and still big enough to have great business and recreational opportunities.
What do you do in your free time? Most of the time I’m hauling kids to a practice or game. My husband & I are really enjoying our growing downtown and being with friends and family. We recently bought a boat, so now you can find me on the nearest body of water!
What’s your favorite restaurant in Abilene? The Local is my fav! The food is delicious, everything is beautiful, the vibe is unmatched, and the drinks are AMAZING.
What’s the last book you read or what’s your favorite book? Brain Maker by Dr. David Perlmutter.
What’s something you’re passionate about and why? I love all of my jobs and the ways I get to express my passions through them. I’m most inspired by my kids, and am passionate about raising children that will bring positive contributions to our community and their world.
