Where are you from? Columbus, Ohio

If you’re not from Abilene, how long have you lived in the area and what brought you here? My husband and I are originally from Ohio and both graduates from the University of Cincinnati. We moved to Abilene four years ago for the military.

What is your favorite thing about living in the Big Country? I love the true sense of community found here in the Big Country. There is nothing like Texas hospitality.

What do you do in your free time? In my free time I teach spin and Pilates classes. I love empowering others to become the best version of themselves. What does being an Abilene Young Professional mean to you? Being an Abilene Young Professional means I have a chance to leave a positive impact in the local community. I also enjoy having the opportunity to mentor and educate my staff. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work for a small locally owned business such as The Mill. A place that creates an environment for fellowship and community gathering.

Share a fun fact about yourself other AYP Members might not know! Fun fact about me I love to be outside. Whether it is planting in my garden or or taking our 2 dogs for a long hike I am most happy out in the fresh air.
