AYP Helps Flatten the Curve: Ways to Help Our Community

There are ways we can support one another and the rest of Abilene, during times of uncertainty. With nearly 600 members, we CAN make a difference and help flatten the curve.

COVID-19: Support Nonprofit Needs CFA has established the Support Abilene Fund to support local needs related to the COVID-19 crisis. You can either make a general donation to the fund, or you can designate your gift to meet specific nonprofit needs listed below. LEARN MORE


Abilene United United Way of Abilene created the Abilene United Fund to assist nonprofit agencies actively working to assist individuals or families disproportionately affected by disaster events in our local area. LEARN MORE


SMALL BUSINESS OF ABILENE COVID-19 RELIEF FUND This is Fundraising Campaign for Small Businesses.  In recent weeks, COVID-19 has devastated our small businesses, leaving so many with an uncertain future. But we have the power to help. The Support Small Business of Abilene Facebook Group has partnered with the Community Foundation of Abilene and the Abilene Chamber of Commerce to create a Small Business of Abilene COVID-19 Relief Fund. Supply Chain Task Force The Abilene Chamber is proud to partner with Chambers of Commerce across the State of Texas to mobilize businesses to do their part to combat COVID-19. This past Sunday, Governor Greg Abbott announced the creation of a Supply Chain Strike Force. The Strike Force is guiding collaboration between the public and private sectors to ensure health care facilities have the supplies and resources they need to respond to COVID-19. The Strike Force needs your help to secure necessary large quantities of critically-needed personal protective equipment (PPE) items such as masks (N95 and/or surgical), respirators, ventilators, gowns, and gloves.
