Nathan Lowry

Age: 34

Business: Big Country Title

Job title: President/Owner

Why are you working in this industry? It’s challenging and rewarding. We help people in the process of buying or selling homes, ranches, and businesses and we like being at the table through each step of the process.

What are three daily habits that have helped you to become successful?

1. Approach all things with a sense of gratitude

2. Find something to improve every day

3. Drink a lot of coffee

Who is the person who most influenced you in business? My dad, who taught to never compromise in character or values, that good is the enemy of best, to measure twice and cut once, the importance of competition both on the field and in the marketplace, and to treat others the way you want to be treated.

What is the best advice you have ever received? Leave it better than you found it.

What do you want to be doing in 10 years? Continuing to invest in the Big Country.

What was your first summer job? Mowing yards and refurbishing real estate signs/frames.

Where will we find you enjoying your hard-earned time off? Exploring the outdoors with family.

If you were to give one piece of advice to someone starting out in your field what would it be? Surround yourself with great people.
