Why are you working in this industry?
I am working in education because I believe in the value of education to contribute positively to society by shaping our youth’s minds and futures. Witnessing the growth and achievement of students is very rewarding, knowing that you played a role in their development.

The three daily habits that have helped me become successful are effective time management, continuous learning, and consistent self-care.
Who is the person who most influenced you in business?
Reagan Berry, Wylie High School Principal, is the person who has influenced me most in business. She is an outstanding and innovative leader.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
The best advice I have received to focus on what you can control and to always turn to prayer, gratitude, and trust in the Lord to find peace in life’s challenges.
What do you want to be doing in 10 years?
In 10 years I hope to have contributed to significant projects, continued my commitment to personal and professional growth, and continued to use my gifts to honor God and make an impact.
What was your first summer job?
My first summer job was at Cavender’s Boot City in Abilene.
If you were to give one piece of advice to someone starting out in your field what would it be?
The best advice I would give to future educators is to foster a positive learning environment and work diligently to create a genuine connection with students to create a space where everyone feels welcome.
