Keeley Gaddis

Age: 31

Business: JACOB | MARTIN

Job title: Chief Financial Officer

Why are you working in this industry?

For me, success is defined by more than just my career. Success is showing up for my family and leaving an impact on everyone I encounter. This industry allows me to do just that while also achieving my career goals. As far as my day to day, I enjoy how financial data is used to drive the success of a business.

What are three daily habits that have helped you to become successful?

I start every day with coffee, I utilize a planner to set daily goals, I reach out to someone outside my daily circle to stay connected.

Who is the person who most influenced you in business?

My Dad. He always gives me reasonable advice.

What is an accomplishment that shaped your career?

Becoming a mom shaped my career by helping me prioritize my ambition and allowed me to have a healthier work/life balance which in turn made me a better employee.

Describe yourself in one word:

Intentional

If you were to give one piece of advice to someone starting out in your field what would it be?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions or get out of your comfort zone because building relationships is just as important as your technical expertise.

Where will we find you enjoying your hard-earned time off?

The beach!
