Age: 38

Business: Community Broadcast Partners

Job title: VP of Programming & Morning Show Host on 95.1 The Wolf

Why are you working in this industry? To entertain, to be creative, but most importantly to help other people.

What are three daily habits that have helped you to become successful? Always strive to learn from others in the radio industry, meditate, and go to bed at a decent hour (my mornings come early!)

Who is the person who most influenced you in business? Kidd Kraddick. His love for the radio industry was second to none. Listening to Kidd every morning is what gave me the desire to be an on-air personality. But it wasn’t until I met him that I really understood his passion. He taught me that radio is more than just having fun and making people laugh, it is a platform to help others. We have an opportunity to impact lives every day!

What is the best advice you have ever received? If it’s important, you will find a way. If it’s not, you will find an excuse.

If you were to give one piece of advice to someone starting out in your field what would it be? Connect with your audience emotionally. Make them laugh, make them happy, make them cry, make them sad, even angry or confused. As long as you make them feel something. And always remember to be yourself!

Where will we find you enjoying your hard-earned time off? Las Vegas!

Describe yourself in one word. Engaging
